The design of this cushion is kept pure and simple, allowing its fine material and beautiful craftsmanship to come into their own.
The most precious and beautiful linen fabrics are produced in Belgium.
Our cushion's linen is produced in a certain region of Belgium known for its fine linen. Only a handful of manufacturers there are allowed to declare their linen as "Belgian linen", as it must contain at least 85% flax from Europe and be produced in this region.
This linen will become a true life companion. It is robust, yet delicate and soft.
The edging of the cushion is hand-made on centuries-old machines in a small-scale passemanterie workshop in the eastern German region of Lausitz, where knowledge of and experience in lacemaking has been passed down the generations right through to the present day.
The pillow filling is made of 100% virgin wool balls that keep their size and shape for a lifetime.
